The Midland S.P.C.A. is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the welfare of animals, serving Midland and West Texas since 1948.

Our shelter serves as an Adoption Center for the placement of previously owned pets. Admission of animals is accepted according to the availability of space & the shelter's current ability to house & care for the animals.

The Midland SPCA Pet Clinic provides a low-cost spay/neuter clinic & a monthly shot clinic.

We depend on two very important sources for our continuing reliability: Volunteers & private financial contributors.  All contributions are tax-deductible and go directly to animal needs.

JUST A REMINDER
Abandoning an unwanted animal is ILLEGAL under Texas law, even at an animal shelter. We do our best to take in what we can, however we have limited space and resources. We ask that you please not drop off unwanted animals at our doorstep when the shelter is closed.

PLEASE NOTE: SPCA's are not affiliated across the country and operate completely independent of each other. If you send donations to the ASPCA, for example, your donations stay in New York to help the pets of New York. If you donate to the Midland S.P.C.A., your dollars are at work right here in your local community.
